Shaktishali Mahila Sangthan Samiti

Formed in 1996, Shaktishali Mahila Sangthan Samiti (SMSS) is a voluntary organization registered under the Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act, 1973. Started by a group of like-minded and self-motivated social workers, the organization strives to improve the quality of life of various disadvantaged groups living in the hilly tribal district of Shivpuri. Empowering women, and transforming communities – this is the driving force behind Shaktishali Mahila Sangthan Samiti (SMSS) to improve the lives of women and children in rural areas. Since its incorporation, SMSS has been tirelessly working towards various initiatives such as promoting health and nutrition, building sanitation facilities, and providing skill development programs for women.

Our organization works towards eradicating malnutrition, promoting education, improving health and sanitation, and building sustainable livelihoods. We strive to create a society where every individual, regardless of gender or socio-economic status, has equal access to necessities and can lead a fulfilling life.
